Fun with Idioms

It wasn't until I began teaching a few years ago that I realized how clueless most children are about the world of idioms. I use them in my conversation with students and get the blank stare. I really, really hate the blank stare! It means there's disconnect. In preparation to be working with middle school students ESL/English-Language Arts, I figured I would search for fun resources to teach idioms. I stumbled upon this video and YouTube and thought to share it. Learning idioms/figurative language will not only assist them in better conversation but more vivid writing!
